I can offer teaching to skilled percussionists and
dancers, and also to the general populaton on a beginning level.
I can teach alone, or with Martha Partridge, a movement specialist

principals of Trager, Pilates, Cranial-Sacral, and energy work.

WORKSHOPS WITH MARTHA PARTRIDGE FOR THE GENERAL
PUBLIC
DRUMMING, SINGING, AND BODY
PERCUSSION
A workshop that combines drum circle style drumming
with body and voice percussion.
The voice will be activated and used, both as a
way of learning rhythms, and as a way of accessing personal expression
and creativity.
Drumming or body percussion could also be presented
as separate topics, each supported by voice work.
Drumming and singing workshop can contain an aspect
of hands on group healing work if desired. The hands take on tremendous
positive energy through drumming, and to pass it along through
touch is a powerful healing tool.
AMADINDA XYLOPHONE
A workshop dedicated to the wonderful pentatonic
log xylophone of Uganda. The amadinda is traditionally played
by 3 people at once, and can be played with as few as 2 and as
many as 6.
SHAMANIC JOURNEYING WITH LIVE
DRUMMING
Instruction in methods of soul travel to the upper
and lower worlds, taught by Martha, and supported and encouraged
by repetitive drumming, which grounds the participants and holds
the space.
